Advantage Rail™ / Portable Options
Advantage Rail™ Portable A solid, floor mounted pivoting and locking bar suitable for users who require moderate assistance to achieve small steps during transfers.
Maximum Support - The Advantage Rail™ has a pivoting feature that allows the horizontal rail to be positioned where it can provide maximum support. The rail locks in an instant in case there is a loss of balance, a need for rest, or a desire to get to a seated position.
Flexible - The Advantage Rail™ is ideal for applications where the ceiling height / structure will not accommodate a SuperPole™ or SuperPole™ with SuperBar™ (a floor to ceiling grab bar). The Advantage Rail™ and Advantage Rail 350™ mount directly to the floor, so they can be installed virtually anywhere.
Portable Options - Each portable model quickly secures and releases from a low profile floor mounted plate. Additional floor plates can be purchased to use the Advantage Rail™ in multiple locations. Aluminum Advantage Rail “T” Handle available. Weight capacity 160 lbs.

Note: The AdvantageRail™ should only be installed in areas where the floor is structurally sound. If you are not equipped to undertake the outlined work we recommend that you have your Advantage Rail™ installed by a qualified contractor. Unit must be secured to floor with fasteners appropriate to the floor material - fasteners must be rated for at least 400lbs/188kg retention force each (see within for recommendations). Floor mount fasteners should be inspected monthly and tightened if necessary. |
There are five models for the Advantage Rail, two standard models regular (300lbs) and bariatric (450lbs) and the same two models except in a portable version, the fifth is a lightweight version (160lbs) were the top portion is aluminum and not steel.
The portable version is great if you have a couple places in your home or a facility but do not want to buy multiple Advantage Rails. Another benefit of the portable model is you can store the rail out of sight when guests are over. The portable models comes with one floor mounting bracket.
