PAC 2300 - Residential Door Opener
After 25 years of selling door openers for the accessibility market, Power Access Corporation has released a new lower cost, lighter weight, slim line Model 2300 door opener designed for the home. Selecting the correct “mounting” model (Door or Jamb):
If the door opens inward into the room/house then you need a door mounted unit.
If the door opens out ward then you need a Jamb mounted unit.
Selecting Right or Left Side model:
If you are standing on the side of the door you intend to install the opener and the door is closed which side or the door are the hinges?
If the hinges are on the right side of the door you need a “Left” mount model, otherwise you need the “Right” model.
Note: Door should not have spring hinges as this may create too much resistance. There should be at least 3” between the wall and the face of the door when the door is parallel to the wall.
The Strike Key replaces the doors’ regular latch plate on the door jam and is wired to the 2300 to automatically release to open the door. With the strike key you do not have to turn the door knob for the door to open and close.
